Color challenge
April 15, 2008
I have gone against what I said and done another card today, this one was inspired by both Pam at Paper Askew and the CPS challenges. I am not sure I hit either on the head, but I did have fun trying to work with the colors and sketch together to make one card. You can’t really see it because I only used versamark, but the red part does say Happy Birthday on it to go along with the balloons. I had planned on using more color on the background and also using some black, but I am happy with how it turned out!
More cards….
April 3, 2008
Here are the last of the cards I did get completed before we moved. After this, I am going to have to stick to scrapbook pages as I have not put many up for awhile. Of course, I like to put pages up that are interesting and different and not just each and every page I make…so that may take awhile.
This first card is one I made using a page completion kit from Creative Memories and Papertray’s Warmest Wishes stamp. As a consultant I end up with a ton of these kits and wanted to try using it as a card, of course these pictures are SUPER blurry…sorry!

The second card is made with Papertray stamps again, LOVE those stamps! It was a card we gave to one of our neighbors when we moved.

This card is very hard to read, but it does say Thank You in the middle of the orange layer. I used my mini shape maker from CM on the white layer, the colors are really great together….very spring like!

This is another card that I made with a couple of stickers I have had for awhile and a SU stamp.

I really love this last card, I used the scoring trick to make the lines on the background. Then I took a sanding block to make the lines show up more and then just added the paper and ribbon, very simple!

Thanks for looking and have a super day!
